Have common tips at config stage, for instance: less secure apps should be enabled for GMail accounts. Several users stuck on this stage.

Thanks for this suggestion. Google recently implemented an improved password authentication system called OUATH2, so we’ve implemented this in a new version of Mailwasher which is due to come out in a week – it’s a free update and means you can add a Gmail account without getting this message. Without OAUTH2 you get this notification to enable for ‘less secure apps’ for all email programs (outlook etc) when adding a Gmail account as it’s the way password authentication has always been done – Gmail just chose an unfortunate label for it.
